Step 1. Inquiry
The first step in the PSCS admissions process is to start an inquiry—either call us at 206-324-4350 or log in to Ravenna—and start a dialogue about your student(s). Note: we accept applications for grades 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10
Step 2. Morning Visit for Prospective Families
Morning Visitations are the best opportunity for prospective parents and students to tour PSCS with a current student, meet with senior administrative staff, and join us for our daily Check-in (an important part of our day). Visitors will learn more about PSCS, meet available teaching staff members and current students, and visit classes.
Morning Visitations are scheduled in groups on a specific day of the week from 8:40-11:40am. We consider these to be a critical part of our application process and we do occasionally schedule them outside of the regular admissions cycle. These are for the student and parent(s).

*Attending a Morning Visit is a required step in the official admissions process.
Step 3. Online Application
All PSCS applications should be completed through our online enrollment system, Ravenna. You will create a login (or may have one already if you are applying to other independent schools) and then go through the steps as noted in the program.
- PSCS has completed the first portion of our admissions season. We are now accepting applications on a rolling basis fro our remaining spots for the 2021 - 22.
Step 4. Tuition Aid Application
Please visit the Tuition Aid Info page before applying.
- Tuition Aid applications for the 2019-20 school year are due 2/6/20 (via FACTS).
- Subjective data letters for the Tuition Aid Committee are due 2/6/20 (via email).
Step 5. Family Interview
Once your family has attended a full day visit and completed the online application process, you will then be ready to schedule a 45-minute Family Interview. During this interview the student will present their creative project and have a one-on-one reflection time with members of the PSCS admin team. Parents will have a operate interview with the members of the admin team. The purpose of this interview is threefold: to help us get to know your family better, gauge your understanding of our specific educational philosophy, as well as to provide parents and guardians the opportunity to discuss your child in greater depth and ask additional questions.
Families will only be able to sign up for an interview, once a student's preliminary application steps and Morning Visit have been completed.

Step 6. Enrollment Decisions
After an application is complete, the applying student(s) has had a Morning Visit, and families have come in for their interview, enrollment decisions (accepted, not accepted, waitlisted) will be posted online in Ravenna. Tuition Aid decisions will be sent home separately.
Step 7. Contract & Deposit
Once a student has been offered admission and decides to join the PSCS community, we require an enrollment contract and $1,000 deposit to hold that student's spot. If this deposit is a hardship for your family, please contact our Director of School Operations, Samuel Mitchell.
