Maggie Rogers—Fundraising Lead

Maggie Rogers (she/her) is a Pisces, art-maker, plant-lover, and all-around rascal who proudly hails from Louisville, KY. Before moving to Seattle in 2016 to complete the Literary Apprenticeship at Seattle Repertory Theatre, she lived in Chicago where she graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Theatre Directing as the class Valedictorian. During the COVID shutdown, she went back to school to study horticulture at Edmonds College working to complete the Greenhouse Operations + Management and Sustainable Landscaping tracks.

Artistically in Seattle, she has served as the Artistic Director of Washington Ensemble Theatre, been a company member with The Horse in Motion, and is currently artistic partners with the drag performer Cherdonna Shinatra. Before joining the PSCS staff, she was a volunteer instructor leading the Play Production, Playwriting, and Native Plants classes. She recently left her position as Executive Director of PlantAmnesty, a non-profit working to protect urban greenspace. As a lifelong artist and environmentalist, she has worked and volunteered at many non-profit organizations. Nothing makes her happier than raising money for organizations whose missions she supports.

She has been in Seattle for eight years and lives with her partner Ryan, their two cats, a rabbit, and all of Maggie’s craft supplies.
