Brandon Bermudez–Teaching Staff

For the past 20 years, Brandon (he/him) has been working as a musician, producer, audio engineer, and teacher in the Puget Sound area. He regularly performs and frequently collaborates with many professional musicians and artists around the world. Most recently, he’s been performing live with The Black Tones, Dearheart, and Erin Rae and the Heartbeets, while also producing lofi pop and hip hop tracks for national artists at his studio.

He is well-known as one of the best live audio engineers in Seattle, which keeps him busy at popular clubs and venues with internationally touring acts on a weekly basis. Brandon is also a dedicated educator and mentor, maintaining a consistent roster of private guitar, bass, drum, keyboard, and production students for the past 10 years. In his spare time he enjoys reviving broken machines, evaluating taco trucks, and perusing garage sales.

Brandon believes that self-discipline, artistic versatility, conscientiousness, and diplomacy are the qualities that define great musicians. With his interactive and student-propelled teaching approach, the students have equal control of the pacing in each lesson, which alleviates classroom anxiety and helps the lesson material become more comprehensible for everyone. With a heavy emphasis on creativity and technique, Brandon teaches his students how to develop new avenues for expression and relish in the joy of creation. Brandon is excited to share his experiences from two decades of work in the music industry and bring a fresh perspective and energy to PSCS.
