Teaching Staff

Liana Green can no longer remember how much her allowance was as a pre-teen, but she remembers what it meant to her.

“I would save my allowance and go rent a saxophone from the music store,” she says. “I’d have that for three months, and then I’d take that back and get a clarinet and have that for a couple months. Then I’d take it back and go get a tuba. That was just fun for me.

2017 Winter Parent Night

Wednesday, January 18, 7-8:30pm

The fall term Parent Night gave current PSCS parents a chance to connect with the staff as we got straight to the core of our passions as teachers. This time, we’re offering YOU the chance to share your light with the rest of us—by making a short presentation of something you’re up to, passionate about, or interested in!

Finally finished that poem? Want to explain an amazing surgery?  Did you just climb an ice wall for the first time? Are you particularly proud of what you’re doing at work? As a volunteer?  Perhaps you’ve got an inspiring story or a craft or hobby that keeps you feeling peaceful. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it just needs to be important to you. Come share what lights you up!*

If you’re game to make a short (5-7 minute) presentation to your fellow PSCS parents and the staff, please email Samuel with your idea, so we can make sure to have time for everyone. Not presenting? We still want all of you at the parent night. Anyone who has attended in the past knows that this is a very special evening of community connection so, either way, RSVP to Samuel.

*If you shared something last year and have something new, by all means be in touch, but understand that gentle preference will be given to those who did not present last year.

PS: The next Parent Education Evening w/Andy will be Thursday, February 2, 7-8:30pm.  Watch for details in upcoming announcements.
