PSCS Founder Featured in New Book

Laura Schroff, author of An Invisible Thread—a 2011 #1 New York Times and international best-seller—has just released her new book, Angels on Earth: Inspiring Stories of Fate, Friendship, and the Power of Connections, which features thirty stories that highlight the impact of kindness in the world.

Last fall, PSCS founder and director, Andy Smallman, was asked to contribute. His story, The Facilitator, emphasizes the importance of kindness in schools and his belief that “we, as human beings, are fundamentally kind,” he says. “It’s just that a lot of things end up interfering with that along the way.”

A click of a garage door opener that creates a magical bond between a woman and two little girls. A young boy growing up in the South Bronx who receives an unlikely gift that changes the course of his life. ANGELS on EARTH will introduce a series of remarkable people whose invisible thread stories will move, surprise, and inspire readers and shed light on how each of us can live happier, more purposeful lives through sharing acts of kindness.”
